Pastor Bruce Maier was a plumbing contractor, by the age of 24, in California when he felt God calling him to full time pastoral ministry. When he settled the call in his own heart, he and his family moved to Colorado, in 1980, where he attended Nazarene Bible College and graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies. His journey of faith has led him to pastor churches for 30 years, spending six years in Mt. Shasta City, California; 11 years in Lincoln, California; and 13 years in West Sacramento, California. He also served as youth pastor at Delta Church of the Nazarene in Stockton, California, for three years.
Pastor Bruce brings a deep well of ministerial experience to Central Oregon. He has a passion for God and the people God loves, and he believes lost people matter to God. He also has a heart for people in recovery. As a result, his ministry to others produces life transformation, purpose in life, and increased faith. People have experienced healed marriage and families, peace with God and an assurance of salvation.
People comment that Pastor Bruce’s messages are relevant and easy to understand. As an experienced church builder, another hallmark of Pastor Bruce’s ministry is that wherever he has pastored, churches have moved forward and achieved their building dreams, under his leadership.
